A decaying corpse found 20 miles off the coast of Raa Atoll Alifushi Island yesterday has now been buried on the island.
The Maldives Police Services said necessary samples were taken from the body before it was buried.
The corpse was sighted at 5:40 pm and buried at 11:45 pm yesterday.
