MIRA collects Rf433 million in July

The Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) collected Rf433 million (US$28 million) as monthly revenue in July.

The figure represents an 80 percent increase in revenue from the period of January-July in 2010 (Rf1.4 billion to Rf2.6 billion).

US dollar receipts in July meanwhile amounted to US$14.4 million.
