A motorbike collided with a bicycle in Fuvamulah yesterday morning, reported police.
The man riding the bicycle injured his skull and died yesterday afternoon.
Police identified him as Ali Didi, 76, of Garden villa.
The man on the motorbike was not seriously injured.

now if one looks at an ariel view or google earth pic, one wonders, are you kidding me.. these tiny islands without even a properly done road, let along a high-way is dangerous enough to take severl lives a year due to motor bike accidents.. do we maldivians go lunatic when on a motor vehicle? seriously this is sick.. its very hard to feel remorse or sorry for the people died or injured..
I like 2x2km ( may be less) but on friday they all going with motorbike to mosqu. Dear Mister President you want more MONEY. but where is going ? For the peole who are going sick? aaa yes another 9 years and Male sorry maldives will be carbon free. well you should have a strong believe.
