Police confiscate 190 bags of goods from local market

The Maldives Police Services have confiscated 190 bags of goods from the local market area in Malé.

According to the police, the goods were being kept for long periods in public spaces and were a nuisance to traffic and pedestrians.

The 190 bags include 70 bags of watermelon.

The police have warned it will continue to confiscate such goods and has urged the public to follow the rules in handling goods.

    It is seen that a new wave of 3 wheeled motorcycles is ready to go in to the popular trend!

    It is very likely that trend setters and goers will soon start buying them. And the ones they already have, are likely to be scrapped on to the streets; and very soon finding a parking slot for any vehicle could be really hard!

    Can confiscating vehicles just like this, be implemented then?
