Police discover 52 cans of beer drifting in the sea around Male’

Police discovered 52 cans of ‘Bintang’ beer drifting in the sea near Male’s West Park restaurant yesterday afternoon.

According to police, the cans were first discovered yesterday at about 4:40pm.

The Drug Enforcement Department (DED) and Marine police are keeping watch over the area.

  1. Yes, it's a real mystery that the ocean current washed up beer cans on a Maldivian coastline. O come on you share the world with other cultures that allow the use of beer are the DED using the resources to watch as far away as international waters to catch the culprits, fearful of tainting the pure folks of the Maldives.Tomorrow i am pouring 18 gallons of whisky into the ocean to pollute the waters so please dont bathe in the water if you wish to remain free from the evils of drink.
