Maldivians can now have visas for Thailand issued in Male’.
According to Miadhu, visas will also be issued free of charge until March 2010.
Visas will be issued through the Thai consulate and would take one day to process.
Thailand is a popular destination for Maldivians, although current visa procedures are long and difficult.
