‘Mango’ drifts onto a reef

A boat named ‘Mango’ drifted onto a reef while it was travelling from the capital Male’ to Villingili in Gaafu Alifu Atoll.

The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) reported that rescuers attended the scene immediately.

There were seven men aboard the boat and no one was injured during the incident, the MNDF said.
