DRP goes to court over unauthorised use of party logo, seal

The main opposition Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party (DRP) has filed a case today requesting that the Civil Court outlaw use of the party’s logo, seal and resources by the breakaway Z-faction.

Local daily Haveeru reports that the party submitted evidence of unauthorised use of the party logo and seal by dismissed Deputy Leader Umar Naseer.

“We have sued Umar Naseer and his cohorts,” a party official told the newspaper.
