Police Commander Shiyam dismissed

The Maldives Police Services has dismissed South Division Commander Inspector Ahmed Shiyam for violating the organisation’s code of conduct and code of ethics.

Shiyam was on suspension since January and was dismissed on May 26.

The police declined to reveal details of the case against Shiyam.
