A Sri Lankan couple was arrested last night for brewing alcohol on Thilafushi, the Maldives’ industrial and garbage island.
Police have said that some materials related to the incident was discovered at the scene on their arrest.
The arrest occurred last night around 9:00pm, according to local media.
