Cambridge University has decided not to grade the O’Level mathematics papers for Milandhoo on Shaviyani Atoll, because the exam was conducted in breach of rules and regulations for examinations, reports Haveeru.
The university initially raised concerns over the similarity of students’ answers in the exam, witout
Director General of the Department of Public Examinations, Ahmed Shakeeb, said the 38 students who did the exam would receive no grade in the O-Level maths exam.
Deputy Principal of Milandhoo School Ahmed Anwar told Haveeru that the Education Ministry had yet to officially inform the school that the students marks had been invalidated.
Milandhoo ranked second in last year’s O-Level exams.
Hehe..... This milandhoo school didnt get another better way to improve the school grades in maths. Its the hard work done by students to get brilliant grades in O'level exams. I now doubt that how this school ranked 2nd in the Maldivian O'level exams.. It will sure be illegal cheating. I proudly tell that i am a student of GA atoll school and wrote O'level exams last year. And appreciate how neatly our exams were supervised by the school. Insha Allah I also got the best grades i deserve. thanks.
thats nice story, but actually they might do those kind of things. I meant the managment. No one in milandhoo will say the managments of school is good. I am the student of the school, what i know when i was studying is the managments is forcing teachers only teach only some students, not to all of thems which who do not know anythings. Most of the times When the student want study in science stream, they will make lucky draw and the students has to study which luckily drawn, If some time student want study in commers the managments will force and they will make them to study science. this is which heppen on 2006......
